- Conversation History: Your coaching conversations with Wendy are stored locally on your device.
- App Preferences: Settings such as appearance mode, speech preferences, and notification settings.
- Usage Counters: Free message count for freemium tracking.
2.2 Information Processed by Third-Party Services
To provide AI coaching and voice features, certain data is processed by third-party services:
- Voice Input: When you use voice features, audio is sent to Google Cloud Speech-to-Text for transcription. Audio is processed in real-time and is not stored by Google.
- AI Responses: Your text messages are sent to Anthropic (Claude AI) to generate coaching responses. Anthropic does not use this data to train their models.
- Text-to-Speech: Wendy's responses may be converted to speech using Google Cloud Text-to-Speech or similar services.
2.3 Subscription Information
If you subscribe to Wendy Premium:
- Payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.
- We do not collect or have access to your payment details.
- Apple provides us with anonymized transaction records for subscription management.

We use information solely to:
- Provide the AI coaching functionality
- Enable voice input and text-to-speech features
- Manage your subscription status
- Remember your app preferences

We want to be clear about what we do not do:
- We do not create user accounts or profiles
- We do not collect your name, email, or personal identifiers
- We do not store your conversations on our servers
- We do not track your location
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools

5. Data Storage and Security
Your conversation data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms. You can delete all conversation history at any time through the app's Settings.
Data transmitted to third-party AI services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.

We use the following third-party services:

7. Children's Privacy
Wendy is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. The app includes age verification at first launch.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your data:
- Delete Conversations: Clear all conversation history anytime via Settings > Clear Conversation History
- Export Data: Export your conversations via Settings > Export Conversations
- Disable Voice: Use text-only mode by disabling speech features in Settings
- Cancel Subscription: Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings
9. Data Retention
Since conversations are stored locally on your device:
- Data persists until you delete it or uninstall the app
- No data is retained on our servers
- Third-party AI services process data in real-time without long-term storage
